A Nice Looking Cairn

Recently some friends have been sending me photos of cairns, so I thought I’d post them. The first one is from near Diamond Lake in the Indian Peaks Wilderness in western Boulder County.  Curiously, my friend told me, the cairn was not at the “top” of a mountain, just a high point along the slope of an unnamed peak.  One storm had passed over and it was alternately gray and white looking east toward the plains. Enjoy.
